What is The Period Pick-Me-Up?
The Period Pick-Me-Up is a subscription box company. We believe that practical luxury + problem solving = a better period, and that a better period = a better life.
What's in a box?
Box contents vary every cycle. As often as possible, the products inside will be sourced from women-owned, founded, or operated businesses and fair-trade sources.
The purpose of these boxes is to help you have a better period. We source samples from other companies in the cycle space, who have developed products that can help balance your hormones and feel better. We pair these solution-oriented samples with high-quality self-care products, so that when you open the box, you're opening a grab-and-go period routine.
Can I swap products in my box for something else?
As a new start-up, we are working towards a future in which we will be able to offer alternative products for customers who would prefer to skip the snacks/sweets in the boxes.
Please stay tuned as we get there, and feel free to provide feedback as to the types of alternative products you would prefer!
What if I have an allergy?
At this (very) early phase of our business, we do not have the ability to safely and confidently promise that we are allergy-friendly in any way, nor can we currently customize individual boxes to accommodate specific allergy needs. Customers are always encouraged to contact us with their questions/needs.
Offering allergy-friendly solutions and product lines is a development goal for our business, and we ask for your patience as we work towards it!
Can I purchase more than one subscription?
Yes, you can purchase more than one subscription! You can purchase them in the same transaction if they will all be shipped to the same address, or purchase them in separate transactions if they will be shipped to different addresses.
How do I gift a subscription?
Add a subscription or one-time purchase to your cart, optionally add gift context on the cart page, and enter both a shipping address (for your recipient) and a billing address (for you) on the checkout page.
Can I order a single box?
Yes! Choose the "One-time purchase" purchase option and you’ll be able to order one single box – for yourself or as a gift!
Can I order Pick-Me-Up products without a subscription?

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, and more. See all payment method options on the checkout page.
When and how often will I be billed?
You will be billed for your first box or set of boxes immediately. Subsequent boxes or sets of boxes will be billed monthly.
How do I update my payment method?
Visit the Account page, log into your account, click the “My Subscriptions” link, click the "Manage subscription" button, click the "Update" link in the payment method section, and you will receive an email with a link to update your payment method.
Where do you ship to?
At this time, we ship only to the United States.
When will my box ship?
Your first box will ship within 5 days of being ordered. If you've subscribed for more boxes, they will be shipped monthly.
How do I update my shipping address?
Visit the Account page, log into your account, click the “My Subscriptions” link, click the "Manage subscription" button, and click the "Change" link in the shipping address section.
Cancellations & Refunds
How do I cancel a subscription?
Visit the Account page, log into your account, click the “My Subscriptions” link, click the "Manage subscription" button, and click the "Cancel" button.
Can I get a refund?
To be eligible for a refund, we ask that you email your request to us at email@example.com – because as a start-up, we rely on the feedback of our customers to grow into the best company that we can be.
We reserve the right to decline refunds, discontinue subscriptions, or require the items to be returned to us, on a case-by-case basis.
