At Pick-Me-Up, we hold the fundamental belief that all women deserve to menstruate with dignity. That’s why we’ve committed to donating at least 10% of our profits to Helping Women Period.

PMU’s donations are specifically directed toward providing period supplies to school districts.

Without necessary supplies to rely on, 1 in 4 girls in Michigan opts to stay home from school while menstruating, rather than trust in makeshift toilet paper pads.

Founded in 2015, HWP combats period poverty by directly donating menstrual products to those in need, advocating at all levels of government to increase the accessibility and availability of menstrual products, reducing the stigma surrounding menstruation, and educating menstruators and non-menstruators alike.
